The iLab system offers several options to place requests. Customers can order online by clicking a "request" button next to the appropriate service. If relevant, the system will prompt the customer to fill out required text fields or upload required forms in order to submit the request. Core facility personnel can also complete an online request form on behalf of customers, for cases in which customers are unable or unwilling to complete the form themselves. Cores which offer time-based services, (e.g., microscopy or flow cytometry cores) rely on the equipment scheduling functionality.
