The iLab system offers a means for both internal and external customers to identify available services. The information available to customers searching for core services includes the name of the service, a detailed description, the cost (including variable costs by customer type), the estimated time (if relevant), and forms or files that a customer must complete in order to place a request. Core managers may choose which of this information is available to any Internet visitor and which information requires a potential customer to login. In most cases, customers must login to view the price; the price displayed will be the price appropriate to the type of customer (e.g., internal, external academic, corporate, etc.)
