iLab offers a variety of administrative tools to allow cores and administrators to maintain and update core information personally, without working through local IT departments or the iLab support team. Administrators may add and remove users, and adjust user access levels as needed. Administrators may also establish, review and update prices of services.
Recognizing that administrative responsibilities are shared in a variety of ways depending on a core's or institution's rules and preferences, iLab customizes each user's account to match the appropriate authority level for each user. For example, central administrators who oversee multiple cores can monitor usage activity across multiple cores generate reports as needed.
